March 2024 | 3,600 sq ft | Baltimore, MD
PROJECT BRIEF
In the United States, distrust in the healthcare system poses a significant barrier to accessing care, especially among low-income individuals. In Baltimore, underserved communities face significant challenges due to avoidance of the healthcare system from lack of trust. This pediatric outpatient clinic aims to be a space of transformation, delivering essential healthcare services to mistrusting families to instill hope and facilitate healing through community-centered design elements, aiming to bridge the trust gap and provide essential mental health services to underserved populations.
